Timi Sanni is a poet, fiction writer, editor, and multidisciplinary artist from Lagos, Nigeria. His chapbook, "The Ordinary Affair of Being Human," was selected by Kwame Dawes and Chris Abani as part of the African Poetry Book Fund's New-Generation African Poets Box Set.
He has received several literary awards, including the Anita McAndrews Award Poetry Contest, Sprinng Poetry Contest, Kreative Diadem Writing Contest, and Stephen A. DiBiase Poetry Prize.
He has also been recognized with support from Poets Without Borders, Sprinng.org, and Idumaese Alao Foundation.
Timi serves as a poetry mentor at Sprinng Writers Fellowship and judges the Young Muslim Writers Award.
