Mazeedah Olutosin is an editor and literary critic with a particular interest in children’s literature and the novel. She works in publishing as an editor where she acquires and develops manuscripts across adult and children’s publishing.
Her editorial work includes ‘Tunde Onakoya the chess champion’ and the Ugo and Sim Sim series, which advocates for greater awareness and inclusion of children with autism and Down syndrome. She is the founder of Middle Space, a platform dedicated to conversations on reading, publishing, and literacy, and also runs the YZ book club.
Her writing on the novel as a literary form has appeared in The Republic. Through her editorial work, criticism, and community initiatives, she is committed to strengthening reading culture and supporting the growth of African literature. She holds a Master’s degree in Literature from the University of Lagos.
