Latoya West-Blackwood is a publisher and communications consultant, based in Kingston, Jamaica. Her work focuses on gender equality, social justice, and literacy as tools for transformation and inclusive development.

She is a Yale School of Management International Publishing Leader Awardee (Book Publishing) in recognition of her work in the areas of access to education for underserved communities, research to support the production of culturally relevant materials for early grade readers and youth civic engagement through literacy.

Latoya is the immediate past Chairperson of the Book Industry Association of Jamaica (BIAJ), currently serves as an advisory board member of PublisHER, a global organization supporting women in publishing, and is a member of the International Publishers Association Inclusive Publishing and Literacy Committee.
