Khadija Yusra Sanusi is a Nigerian writer, poet, and storyteller with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Creative Writing from the American University of Paris and a Master’s from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). From her earlier works at Mail & Guardian’s Voices of Africa while a student at the African Leadership Academy in Johannesburg (2014-15) to being a reporter at NewsWireNGR (2020-21) to African Leadership Magazine (2021-22) to writing for Al Jazeera (2022), Khadija has written tens of articles telling marginalised stories and writing to challenge social norms and traditional expectations.
Khadija currently lives in Nigeria, where she writes, buys more books than she can read and spends an unhealthy amount of time watching movies and TV shows.
