Fadekemi Olumide-Aluko is an actor, educational leader, lawyer, poet and writer, who debuted on TV in 2022 as Fatimah in the MNet political thriller, “Covenant”. Her eclectic career experience includes film & theatre arts, legal mediation, corporate law, school governance, teacher training, childhood education and copyediting.
She is a lover of creative spaces and a self-professed ‘life-long learner’. In 2020, Fadekemi was the only African shortlisted for the Hammond House UK International Poetry Prize for her poem, “The Night Nurse”. Her greatest passion remains coaching and inspiring her 2 young-adult daughters to be all they are equipped to be.
