Bofane In Koli was born in Mbandaka (Congo DRC) the 24th of October 1954. He has lived between Congo and Belgium from 1960.
Currently, he lives in Belgium. Coming from advertisement, he switched to literature by publishing Why The Lion Is No Longer The King Of Animals in 1997, Mathématiques congolaises in 2008, Congo Inc. in 2014, Casablanca Story in 2018, his last book is Nation Cannibale in 2025.
