Abubakar Adam Ibrahim is a multi-award-winning Nigerian writer. He has authored four critically acclaimed books, including the NLNG Nigeria Prize for Literature-winning novel, Season of Crimson Blossoms, and the critically acclaimed When We Were Fireflies. He has also won the Michael Elliott Award for Excellence in African Storytelling for his reportage on female victims of Boko Haram and writes a weekly public affairs column for one of NIgeria's biggest newspapers. His works have been translated into French, German, Italian and Tamil, among others.
