Baba-Aminu is a poet, writer, editor, and visual artist. For over a decade, he was the Editor and editorial cartoonist of the Saturday edition of one of the most influential newspapers in Nigeria, before pivoting to training and consulting.
His written and illustrative work is featured across numerous poetry collections, as well as the bestselling graphic novel anthology ‘The Most Important Comic Book on Earth’ (Penguin UK).
Baba-Aminu’s deep-dive journalism has been translated into French and Italian. The Africanfuturist poetry collection ‘Kill The Poet, Save The World!’ is his debut as an author. Also a highly sought-after book cover designer with credits ranging from commercial hits to award-winning books, he is also the COO of Spine & Label, one of Abuja’s most beloved bookstores.
