Facilitated by Deborah Ahenkorah and Sarah Odedina this workshop is tailored to writers creating books for young readers. The focus will be on the key elements of great storytelling: character building, creating a strong setting, devising a plausible plot and ensuring that dialogue is authentic and will involve both delivery of key information and author participation. Attendees will receive in-depth knowledge about the craft of writing, and a greater understanding of writing for young readers aged between 8 and 18 years old.
