Carol Eferamor King is a versatile, award-winning multilingual thespian, producer and presenter with acting experience spanning radio, television, film and stage. She has performed in major stage plays like the crowd-pulling “V Monologues vs Tarzan Monologues,” “AJAI… A Play on the Life of Ajai Crowther,” “Seven,” and “For Colored Girls,” to mention a few.
She was a Best Actress nominee at the 2007 Monte Carlo Film/TV Festival for her performance as Mrs. Anyanwu in the award-winning M-Net series “Edge of Paradise.” She received the Annual Film Mischief Grand Cheese Prize for Best Acting Performance in the short film T’egbon T’aburo in 2024.
She was recently presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to art, film and theatre by the Nsibidi Institute. Her autobiography, The Moving Star… A Reminiscence, was published in 2024.
