Bash Amuneni is an architect and poet who lives between England and Nigeria. His works explore the subtleties of the human condition, weaving narratives of memory, identity, and resilience. He is currently poet-in-residence at Portsmouth Football Club and Program Manager of the Abuja Literary Society.
Bash has featured at the Lagos International Poetry Festival, ALITFest, Poetry Africa, SLAMeroun, the Festival of Ideas: A Journey into African Knowledge at the University of Sussex, the D-Day 80 commemorative readings in Portsmouth City, and Victorious Festival, Portsmouth.
He was the performance poet at the commissioning of the African Development Bank Headquarters and the African Parliamentary Union Congress in 2018. As a poet, A&R consultant and storyteller, he has worked with global brands and institutions including Oando PLC, WIPO, Balvenie Whiskey, Options Consultancy Services, USAID, British Council, United Nations, Nigerian Lottery Commission, Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority, European Union, and the Nigerian Navy.
