Myroslav Laiuk (Kyiv, Ukraine, 1990) is a writer and war documentarian. He is an author of 3 poetry collections and 3 novels. Myroslav holds a PhD and teaches creative writing at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. As a war documentarian, he works on a frontline; he published books of essays and reportages "Bakhmut" (2023) and "Lists" (2025).
"Bakhmut" was awarded with George Shevelov Prize (2024), shortlisted by BBC Book of the Year Award (2024) and Peterson Literary Prize (2024)
