Yashika Graham is a Jamaican poet and broadcaster. Her debut poetry collection Some of Us Can Go Back Home was shortlisted for the 2025 OCM Bocas Prize for Poetry, the 2025 CARICON Prize and longlisted for the OCM Bocas Prize for Caribbean Literature. An Honorary Fellow in the University of Iowa’s International Writing Program, she was awarded the 2019 Mervyn Morris Prize for poetry from the University of the West Indies, Mona where she read for a BA in Literatures in English and has twice won the Poetry Clash Competition.
An executive member of the Poetry Society of Jamaica, Graham has been awarded a Centrum Writer’s Residency and her writing is published internationally and has been presented on global conference and festival stages. Graham produces and hosts The Ackee Pod(cast): Interviews with Writers.
