Sukoluhle “Sue” Nyathi describes herself as an analyst by profession and a writer by passion. Nyathi has authored 4 fiction bestselling critically acclaimed novels: The Polygamist (2012), The Gold Diggers (2018) A Family Affair (2020) and An Angel’s Demise (2022).

She co-wrote a memoir with Nozibele Mayaba, Positively Me: Daring to Live Beyond HIV (2024) Nyathi has contributed to three Anthologies’: Black Tax (2019), Hair: Weaving and Unpicking Stories of Identity (2019) Karavan Press and Die meisie met uitroeptekens in haar oë by Jaco Jacobs ( 2021). Nyathi also edited, When Secrets Become Stories, Women Speak Out (2021), a collection of creative nonfiction stories focusing on gender based violence.

She has also penned a children’s book titled: Drawing Pains (2019) for the Hollard Kagoya Bana #BetterFutures Child Literacy Campaign. Nyathi also has screen writing credits to her name for scriptwriting and story lining.
