Khadija Yusra Sanusi published her first article in July 2014 as a first-year student at the African Leadership Academy with Mail and Guardian’s Voices of Africa in South Africa. Officially, she began her career in journalism in 2015 writing articles for the student-led website and magazine during her years at the American University of Paris.
Passionate about Islam, women and culture, Khadija Yusra has written for several publications including Melan Magazine, MTVShuga, Document Women, NewsWire NGR, Isele Magazine and African Leadership Magazine and has served as the editor at Minority Africa, as well as Broken and Hafsatu Bebi by Fatima Bala.
