Namdi Ehirim is a Lagos based writer whose short stories, essays, and articles have been featured in prominent publications such as Afreada, Arts and Africa, Brittle Paper, Catapult Magazine, Electric Literature, Kalahari Review, The Republic Journal, The Guardian Nigeria, LitHub, and Litro.
His debut novel, Prince of Monkeys, a coming-of-age political fiction, was published in 2019 and was longlisted for the VCU Cabell First Novel Prize.
Ehirim was also nominated for The Future Awards Africa 2020 Prize for Literature.
