OluTimehin Adegbeye

OluTimehin Adegbeye is a writer, speaker, mother and feminist with a deep commitment to social justice, revolutionary love, and uninhibited dancing. She writes non-fiction, poetry and auto-fiction that explores themes of motherhood, loss, trauma, love and healing, and which is rooted in Black Feminist and Womanist thought. Her writing has been published in multiple languages, including Japanese, and can be found online or in print.

She is very vocal on issues relating to gender, sex and sexualities, women’s rights, and inclusive urbanisation. Her work has taken her to three continents so far, but for no apparent reason she continues to live with her daughter and her god send of a nanny in Lagos, Nigeria. It is worth mentioning that there will probably be a TED talk with her name on it floating around the interweb soon, if there isn’t already. For more information on her work, see ohtimehin.com.
